my week in objects (mostly).

Here are five things that made my week:

1. this clean and decorated corner of the apartment.

(because we crammed 11 guests into our tiny abode to celebrate a special birthday!)

2. these pretties.

(for brightening up the kitchen and being such a gorgeous, deep hue.)

3. this business-y dress.

(because I had to work an admissions event on a Saturday, so I figured I'd dress up a bit.)

4. this personal safety keychain.

(for being functional and discreet.)

5. these new throw pillows.

(because they really brighten up our living room and ad some pops of color.)

Have a wonderful week!

  1. Press brakes create bends by pressing sheet steel into a die with a linear punch, so the design does not enable the creation of closed geometry. Sheet steel fabrication is most cost-effective when standard tool sizes are used as opposed to expensive customized instruments that need to be made particularly for the job. If a single half becomes too complicated, contemplate welding or riveting components collectively that can be be} made utilizing standard, or universal instruments. Copper/Brass – With a lower zinc content brasses could be simply cold labored, high precision machining welded and brazed. A high copper content permits the steel to type a protecting oxide in a while its surface that protects it from additional corrosion. This patina creates an often highly desirable aesthetic look present in architectural or different consumer-facing merchandise.
