my week in objects (mostly).

Unfortunately, I have been plagued with a mystery illness for the past week or so, which has made it difficult to focus on anything but sleeping, but anyways, here are five little things that made my difficult week a bit better:

1. this meal.


(because gluten free bread isn't all that bad, especially when smothered in garlic and butter, and served with portobello pizzas.)

2. these Indian sweets.


(because they arrived safely in a care package sent to me by my mom!)



3. this lavender oil.


(because it is my most favorite scent and has now I can diffuse it whenever I want.)

4. this study buddy.


(because she knew I still had to keep up with my work and grad classes, though I wasn't feeling up to it.)

5. these vitamins.


(because even though I'm a grown woman who went to the doctor by herself, I was given animal shaped vitamins.)

Not feeling well is never ideal, but it has been particularly difficult this time since I still don't know what the issue is and I am so far from home. Graduate classes, work and stress have been piling up, but life goes on. Luckily I have a lot of people to support me and take care of me when I'm down, even from miles away! I'm so grateful for those who have helped me out this week, whether it be driving me to urgent care, checking in on me over the phone and listening to me complain (I'm not perfect), or ordering Chinese takeout... I am #blessed.

I'm still working on feeling better, so hopefully I will be back to my normal self in a short while.
